shown to her at the time she sworn the same this 16th day of July 1945

I Frederick William Oakes Mann of Auckland
in the city of Auckland in the provincial district of Auckland and Dominion of New Zealand, Carpenter. Revoking all former WILLS and Testermentry dispositions at any time made by me

I give devise and bequeath all my real and personel estate whatsoever and wheresoever situate unto my dear wife ELLEN MANN for her absolute use and benifit and appoint her sole executrix of this my WILL

In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name this fourteenth day of march One thousand nine hundred and seventeen

AFFIDAVIT to lead to grant of probate
In the Supreme Court of New Zealand , Northern District.

In the ESTATE of
Frederick William Oakes Mann
late of Kawau Island in New Zealand, Retired Carpenter Deceased

I Ellen Mann of Auckland in New Zealand, WIDOW, Make oath and say:-

• 1. That I knew Frederick William Oakes Mann late of Kawau Island in New Zealand, Retired Carpenter, now deceased when alive and that the said Frederick Willaim Oakes Mann resided or was domicile at Kawau Island within this Judicial District and that the nearest registry office of this court to the place where the said Frederick William Oakes Mann resised or was domicil is at Auckland


• 2. That I believe that the written document now produced bearing the date the fourteenth of March 1917 to be the last WILL and Testiment of the said deceased and that I am the Executrix named therein .


• 3. That I will faithfully execute the said WILL by paying the debts and legacies of the deceased as far as the property will extend and the law binds, and will whenever ordered so to do after the grant of probate to me file in this court and verify by affidavit a true full and perfect inventory of all the estate effects and credits of the said deceased which shall have come into my hands possession or knowlege and also a full and distinct and proper account of my execution of the WILL which will set forth the dates and particulars of all receipts and disbursement and show which of the same are in my opinion on account of capital and on account of income respectively.


• 4. That according to my knowledge and believe the estate and effects of the said deceased in respect of which probate is sought to be obtained are under the value of £1600. 0. 0.


• 5. That I was informed by the said deceased during his lifetime and verily believe that the said Frederick William Oakes Mann deceased was born in Auckland in New Zealand and was a British subject by birth and that he was never an alien enemy within the meaning of
  "The Enemy Property Emergency Regulations 1939" or any regulations for the time being in force replacing those regulations.


• 6. That according to my knowlegde information a believe based upon information given to me by the deceased during his life time and upon the results of my enquiries and particularly upon the information referred to in the last preceeding paragraph hereof the deceased was not at the time of his death an alien enemy within the meaning of the said Regulations.


• 7. That I was born at Walkworth in New Zealand and am a British subject by birth and that I am not and never have been an alien enemy within the the said Regulations.

BE IT KNOWN TO ALL MEN that on this twenty fourth day of July in the year One thousand nine hundred and fourty-five the last WILL and Testiment of Frederick William Oakes Mann deceased who died on or about the second day of July One thousand nine hundred and fourty-five ( a copy of which is hereto annexed ) has been exhibited read and proved before the Honorable John Bartholomew Gallah a Judge of this Honorable Court, and administration of the estate effects and credits of the said deceased has been and is hereby granted to
ELLEN MANN of Auckland widow the executrix in the said WILL and Testiment named, being first sworn faithfully to execute the said WILL by paying the debts and legacies of the said deceased as far as the property will extend and the law binds and whenever ordered so to do to file in this court and verify by affidavit a full and perfect inventory of all the estate effects and credits of the said deceased which shall have come into her hands possession or knowledge and also a full distinct and proper account of her execution of the will.
