This is the Last WILL and Testiment of me
JOHN GLASS
of Devonport in the Dominion of New Zealand, Setler
I Hereby revoke all former Wills and Testamentary writings at anytime heretofor made by me and declare this is my last WILL and Testiment
I appoint my sister in law Euphemia Laidlaw
herein after called my Trustee
to be the sole executrix and Trustee of this my WILL
I give to my Trustee for her personel use the sum of sixty pounds for the reason that the sum of sixty pounds included in the specifically mentioned principle money secured by second mortage from my Trustee to my late wife Margaret Glass was really advanced by me to my Trustee and not by my wife and i do not desire that such sum should be repaid to me.
I give Devise and Bequeath all other real and personel estate belonging to me or over which I have power of disposition by WILL unto my Trustee upon trust to pay therewith my funeral and testementry expences and debts
And upon Trust as to the residue of my estate remaining after payment of such expences and debts ( hereinafter called my Residuary Esate )
As to one fourth of my Residuary Estate for my son
WILLIAM CAMPBELL GLASS
As to one fourth of my Residuary Estate for my daughter
MARION CAMPBELL GLASS
As to one fourth of my Residuary Estate for my son
ALFRED DOUGLAS GLASS
And as to the remaining one fourth of my Residuary Estate for all the
children of my late daughter
Euphemia LEE
who shall survive me in equal shares.
In Witness whereof I have to this my Last WILL and Testiment set and subscribed my name this twenty first day of May one thousand nine hundred and seventeen

Signed and acknowledged by the above named Testator
In sight and presence of
us who at his request in his own right and presence and
in the sight and presence of each other
all being present at the same time
hereunto subscribed our names as attending witnesses

Probate
Be it known to all men that on this the fourteenth day of July
in the year
one thousand nine hundred and seventeen that
The Last Will and Testament of
John Glass
deceased a copy of which is hereunto annexed and has been read and proved
before his Honor John Henery Hoskins and administration of the Estate
effects and credits of the deceased has been as is hereby granted to
Elizabeth Laidlaw the Executrix in the said WILL and T
estiment name as being first sworn
faithfully to execute the said WILL by paying the debts and Legacies of the deceased
as far as the property will extend and the law binds
Given under the Seal of the said Supreme Court of New Zealand at Auckland this Fourteenth day of July one thousand nine hundred and seventeen
