Rivers put a terrific right to Wolgast's jaw, at the same instant Wolgast had shot out with the right and left to lower regions of the pit of River's stomach. They both went to the floor. Rivers, clasping his stomach and writhing with pain was apparently counted out by the referee, who deliberatly lifted Wolgast to his feet and declared him the winner, but could give no satisfactory reason for doing so."
