     "Ritchie expresses himself as amused at Ad Wolgast�s declaration that he will branch out and win the welterweight title, �Just wait until after Thanksgiving Day and Wolgast will get over his raving. Instead of fighting welterweights he will be stacking against featherweights as the ex-lightweight champion of the world. I am glad, however, to see that the champion is confident and that he will have no excuses to offer when he is defeated.�
