"Ad Wolgast, former world's lightweight champion, toyed with Young Gilbert of Salt Lake last night for four rounds. In the fifth round he began poking the local boy in earnest and knocked him down for the count of six. in the sixth Gilbert met his finish. After Knocking the Salt Laker down for the count of eight, Wolgast, on the next encounter put him down for keeps. This list of knockdowns does not include the miniature one in the fourth."
