This picture located on the front page of the Grand Rapids Herald on February 23, 1910 shows Nelson and Wolgast signing a contract for the Washington's Birthday fight. The confab between the two fighters came close to a scrap. The men in the second row are from right to left: Tom Jones, Wolgast's manager, John T. Clark, Stakeholder, John P. Robinson, Nelson's manager. The man behind the typewriter is Promoter Sid Hester.
