Battling Nelson, Promoter Sid Hester, Ad Wolgast
"After vain endeavors to get more for his end than $3750 that was offered, Ad Wolgast, the Milwaukee lightweight has accepted the terms of Promoter Sid Hester for a fight with Battling Nelson, and a forty-five round battle for the ligtweight championship of the world will take place in an open air arena. Just over the county line, on the afternoon of Feb. 22nd. Wolgast through Manager Jones wired an acceptance of terms yesterday afternoon and articles were mailed to him at once for his signature."
