“I fight fairly,” said Brown, “and I did not mind Wolgast’s rough tactics. They simply showed him up. I can stop him in a longer fight and I shall keep after him until he gives me a fair chance to win the title in a 25 or 45 round bout. I was surprised to find that I could hit him easily and I want to compliment him for his ability to take my punches without going to the floor.”
