"I used to go out to the Wolgast farm-I was probably pre-school age then, "Wolgast said, " Ad would come out there with a big red car -the wheels were taller than me. He was quite a celebrity but I was so young, it didn't make too big of an impression."
     Wolgast, now 81, said his uncle was quite a character, intent on causing mischief.
     "I remember one time in particular -we went out to the pasture and they wanted me to ride one of the horses back in to the barnyard, " Wolgast, "Of course, I had no saddle, no harness -the only thing I could do was hold on tight to the horse's mane.
     "Once I got the horse to the water trough-it was a real hot day-Ad pulled the horse's head down and into the trough I went. He thought that was big fun."
