Hi! and Welcome to my page! Originally from Somerville, New Jersey, I'm a 40 y/o retired Submarine Independent Duty Corpsman with 20 years in the U.S. Navy, currently working as a truck driver in Georgia. I live with my wife of 17 years, Leslie, and my kitty, Socks, in Colbert, GA (east of Athens). I hope to eventually open up a campground in this part of the world(Java Jim's Naked Trucker Campground and Biker Bar, Where the Coffee's Always Hot and the Women are Always Cold!)
I like long drives, hiking, camping, reading and writing science fiction and poetry. I've spent 2 years in Cairo, Egypt during the DESERT SHIELD/DESERT STORM years when tourism was at a low and bargains high. I spent over 12 years as a Navy Pharmacy Tech and 8 years as an Independent Duty Corpsman for Submarines.�
My wife, Leslie, spends her free time reading fantasy and mystery novels, collecting Star Trek, and keeping me out of trouble.� Socks spends his time trying to drive Leslie and I crazy (and I think he's succeeded!)
