Zesker Collins
Zekser Collins of Willow Springs, son of the late Sol and Trillie Collins, was born Oct. 18, 1909, in Douglas County, MO.
He died Dec. 29, 2002, at Willow Care Nursing Home in Willow Springs, Mo. at the age of 93 years, two months and 11 days.
Zesker was united in marriage to Lacy N. Davis on Dec. 14, 1933, in Willow Springs, Mo.
He was employed by the City of Willow Springs for many years as a dogcatcher.
He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
He was preced in death by his wife; three brothers, Leonard, Lewis and Henry Collins; three sisters, Clara, Dailey and Lisa Collins and his father and mother.
Graveside services were Thursday, Jan. 2, 2003, at Howell Memorial Park beginning at 1 p.m. with Lloyd Collins officiating.
Burial followed under the direction of Willow Funeral Home.
