Western Collins services held
Funeral services for Western Lee Collins, 16, Dora, were at 10 a.m. today, Monday, March 22, 1999, in the gym at Dora School under the direction of Craig-Hurtt-Bradley Funeral Home of Mtn. Grove.
Western died Friday, March 19, 1999, the result of injuries suffered in a motor vehicle accident. He was born Sept. 1, 1982, at West Plains, the son of Jeff and Pam Collins.
Western was a sophomore at Dora High School, where he was active on the basketball team. He enjoyed many hobbies, inclucing hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his parents, Jeff and Pam Collins, Dora; his brother, Winston Levi Collins, of the family home; his maternal grandparents, Everett and Ruth Collins, West Plains; his paternal grandmother, Corine Collins, Mtn. Grove; his maternal great-grandmother, Mary Schaffer, West Plains; and many uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Dustin Levi Collins; and his paternal grandfather Elmer Collins.
Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery in Mtn. Grove.
