Vivian C. Smith, 78

WILLOW SPRINGS � Mrs. Vivian C. Smith, Willow Springs, a retired homemaker, died at 9:54 p.m. Sunday in St. John�s Regional Health Center.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Blue Buck Full Gospel Church in Douglas County, with burial in Cabool Cemetery under direction of Elliott-Gentry Funeral Home, Cabool.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.

Vivian C. Smith

  Vivian C. Smith, daughter of the late Lonel Collins and Clearcy Johnson Collins was born Sept. 14, 1922 at Siloam Springs, MO.  She departed this life April 1, 2001 at St. Johns Hospital in Springfield, MO at the age of 78 years 6 months and 13 days.
  Vivian was united in Marriage to Nolan E. Smith on April 23, 1941.  To this union 11 children were born.  Vivian ws not only a mother and homemaker, but also worked in many of the local restaurants, as well as operationg her own donut shop.  Vivian had a great love for people, specially little kids and enjoyed going to church.  For the last three years she was a faithful member of Christian Life Fellowship Church in Lebanon, MO.
  Vivian leaves to mourn her passing 7 sons and daughter-in-law; Dallas and Randa of Boise, ID, Dennis and Caroline of Cleveland, TX, Bobby and Teena of Giuide Rock, ND, Wayne and Arlena, Willie and Debbie, Jimmy all of Willow Springs, MO, Carl and Cindy of Mtn. View, MO; two daughters and son-in-law; Wanda and Bob Connell of Sallisaw, OK and Lucille and Carl Steffe of Mtn. Grove, MO., 31 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, 5 brothers, 1 sister and a host of other relatives and friends.
  Vivian was preceded in death by her parents, husband Nolan, two sons, Jerry and Freddie, one grandson, Bobby and three brothers.
