Virgil Keith Wheeler
Virgil Keith Wheeler of Willow Springs, son of Lois Lorene Lovan Wheeler and the late Virgil Wayne Wheeler was born March 24, 1956, in Willow Springs, MO.
He departed this life Aug. 16, 2002 at his home in Willow Springs at the age of 46 years, four months and 23 days.
Keith was a graduate of Willow Springs High School.
He was employed by Willow Springs Woodworking and Trophy for several years. He attended services at Westside Community Life Center in Willow Springs.
Survivors include his daughters, Tracy Jane Riley and husband David, of Willow Springs and Lindsay Fay Wheeler and fiance, Kyle Decker, of Winona; his mother Lois Wheeler of Willow Springs; his maternal grandother, Mildred Lovan of Willow Springs; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Karen and Dwayne Owens of Willow Springs and Becky and Bill Gossard of Monta Vista, Colo.; two grandsons Blake and Kaleb Riley; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father; his paternal grandparents, Wayne and Lucy Wheeler; and his maternal grandfather, Elvin Lovan. Services were Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2002, at Westside Community Life Center beginning at 2 p.m. with David Lovan and Steve Dunlap officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Grove Cemetery with Willow Funeral Home in charge.
