Virgie E. Collins services today
Funeral services for Virgie E. Collins, 81, Mammonth Spring, Ark., were held at 2 p.m. today in the Carr-Montgomery Funeral Home, Thayer, with Robert Aborn officiating.
Mrs. Collins died Nov. 29 in Fulton County Hospital, Salem, Ark. She was born May 4, 1899, in Arkansas, the daughter of the late Charley and Mary Hacklebee Horned.
On May 9, 1920, she was married at Wirth, Ark., to Alberton Collins. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Beasel Collins, Mammoth Spring, Ark.; Mary Kirksey, Hoxie, Ark.; Polly Rich, Mammoth Spring, Ark.; one brother, Almer Horned, Little Rock, Ark.; one sister Lucille Rice, Springfield; seven grandchildren.
Her parents, her husband, three brothers and four sisters precede her in death.
Burial was in Collins Cemetery.
