Vetrice Whitehurst services held
Private gravesdie services for Vetrice Collins Whitehurst, 67, Escalon, Calif., and formerly of West Plains, were Saturday, March 3, 2001, at Horton Cemetery in Douglas County.
Mrs. Whitehurst died feb. 18, 2001, at a Modesto, Calif., hospital.
Survivors include her mother, Lottie Collins, West Plains; hr husband, Harold Whitehurst, Escalon; three children, Harold Whitehurst Jr. and wife, and Daivd Whitehurst and wife, Betty, all of Escalon, and Karen Lopez and husband, Ralph, Redwood City, Calif.; seven grandchildren, Ricky and wife, Julie, Modesto, Calif., Nick, Melissa and Ryan of Redwood City, and Jessie, Greg, and Lorie, and a special friend, Peno.
She was preceded in death by her father, Anson Collins.
