Funeral services for Venida Osborn Saturday

  Funeral services for Venida Darlene Osborn, 56, Willow Springs, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 4, 1997, at Assembly of God church, Dora under the direction of Hiler Funeral Home, Willow Springs, with the Rev. Fred Hamby officiating.
  Mrs. Osborn died at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 1, 1997, at her home.  She was born Jan. 24, 1940, at Mtn. Grove, the daughter of Walter and Flossie Paul Collins.
  On Dec. 14, 1958, at West Plains, she married Claudie Osborn.
  She received her education in the Dora School system.  She had worked as a cook at Dora School for 13 years, watching over her children daily. In 1988, she and her husband, Claudie, moved to Willow Springs, again to watch over her children daily.  She was an avid collector of many things, but mostly of friends - many of them being co-workers at Sequel.
  Survivors include her husband, Claudie, of the family home; her mother Flossie Collins, Gainesville; four children, Becky Dunn and husband, Jerry, and Deedee Stolba and husband, Gary, all of Willow Springs, Kenneth Osborn and wife, Donna, Dora, adn Kevin Osborn and wife, Kim, Mtn. Grove; grandchildren, Justin and Brittany Osborn, Lacey Dunn and Kaleb Stolba; five brothers and sisters, Hollis Collins and wife, Alice, Marionville, Earl Collins and wife, Cecil, and Neal Collins and wife, Juanita, all of West Plains, Maxine Johnson and husband, Marshall, Foorest Grove, Ore., and Ina Bird, Dora; a sister-in-law, Helen Collins, Caulfield; numerous nieces and nephews; and many, many friends.
  She was preceded in death by her father; and two brothers, James Collins and Donald Collins
  Burial will be at Sweeton Pond Cemetery, Dora, under the direction of Hiler Funeral Home.
