Sybl Pauline Collins services today
Funeral services for Sybl Pauline Collins, 74, West Plains, were held at 2:30 p.m. today in the Carter Chapel, West Plains, witht he Rev. Don Adkins officiating.
Mrs. Collins died at 6:50 a.m. Saturday in the West Plains Memorial Hospital. She was born August 24, 1906 in Pomona, the daughter of William Fine and Emma Turner Fine.
She was married in 1927 at West Plains to Chester A. Collins, who preceded her in death June 7, 1955.
She was a housewife and a member of Mt. zion Baptist Church loceated west of Olden.
Survivors include four children, Myrtle Nesbitt, Ely A. Collins, Kermit and Kenneth Collins, all of West Plins; two sisters, Lola Brotherton, Malden, and Ruby Hendrick, Willow Springs; three brothers, Amos Fine, Willow Springs, Virgil Fine, Pomona, and Richard Fine, West Plains; six grand-children and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
Burial was in the Union Grove Cemetery.
