Services Wednesday for Steven D Collins
Funeral services for Steven Doyle Collins, 19, Bridgeton, Mo, will be held Wednesday at 2 pm in the Carter Chapel, West Plains, with the Rev Glen Collins, Ravendale Springs, Ark, officiating.
Mr Collins died Saturday at 11:15 pm when he was struck by a snipers bullet at his home in Bridgeton, Mo.
He was born April 16, 1957, in St. Louis County, Mo, the son of Margaret Waterhouse Collins and the late Ermon Doyle Collins.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs Terri Collins, Bridgeton, Mo; one son, Timothy Steven Collins of the home; his mother, Mrs Margaret Collins, Bridgeton, Mo; three brothers, Terry, Michael, and David Collins, Bridgeton, Mo; one sister, Vicki Collins, Bridgeton; his maternal grandmother, Mrs Ruth Dobbs, St Louis, Mo; his paternal grandparents, Ermon and Irene Collins, West Plains; and his paternal great grandfather, Emery Collins of Ava.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 to 8 pm at the Carter Chapel, West Plains.
Burial will be beside his father in Sweeton Pond Cemetery under direction of the Carter Funeral Home, West Plains.

Funeral services for Steven Doyle Collins, Bridgeton, Mo., were held Wednesday at 2 pm in the Carter Chapel, West Plains, with the Rev Glen Collins, Ravendale Springs, Ark, officiating.
Mr Collins died Feb 12 in Bridgeton.
Pallbearers were: Gary Lancaster, Danny Thompson, Doyne Collins, Fred Young, Randy Thompson, and Don Collins.
Many relatives and friends from Bridgeton and St Louis attended the service.
Burial was at Sweeton Pond Cemetery under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, West Plains.
