Stanley W. Collins
Upland, Calif. - Stanley W. Collins, Upland, Calif., died Sept. 10, 2001 in San Antonio Hospital, Upland, after a long illness.
Stanley was born in Selmore, south of Ozark, Mo., on March 6, 1913, to A. Ross and Anne Inez Collins. He had lived in the Inland Valley of California for 65 years. He was a supervisor for the California Department of Motor Vehicles until his retirement. Stanley was a member of the Mountain View Methodist Church in Upland, Calif.
Mr. Collins is survived by his wife, Mildred; 2 daughters, Dianne Allen of Upland, Calif., and Linda Stine of Huntington Beach, Calif., 3 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren, all of California; 1 brother, J. Arthur Collins of Ozark, Mo.; and 1 sister, Geneva Faught of Nixa.
A private memorial service was held in Mountain View Methodist Church and interment was in Upland, Calif.
