Sidney Pringle services Friday

   Funeral services for Sidney Russell Pringle, 74, Pomona, will be 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 9, 2004, in the Rose Chapel of the Robertson-Drago Funeral Home of West Plains.
   Mr. Pringle died 10:20 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2004, in Ozarks Medical Center, West Plains.  He was born April 4, 1929, in Howell County, the son of Ernie and Sadie Davis Pringle.
   On Nov. 22, 1950, he was married at Winnemucca, Nev., to Carol Steinhaus.
   Mr. Pringle was a very good mechanic and enjoyed his work.  He loved bluegrass music and was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
   Survivors include his wife, Carol Pringle, of the family home; four children, Lloyd Pringle and friend, Angela, and Darlene Lopp and husband, Bill, all of Pomona, Anita Davis and husband, Joe, Hutton Valley, and Dean Pringle and wife, Christie, Mansfield; 15 grandchildren including a granddaughter, Angel Taylor, of the family home; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Glen Pringle and wife, Wanda, and Leroy Pringle and wife, Eleanor, all of Willow Springs; and several nieces and nephews.
   He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Vicki Lynn Taylor; one daughter-in-law, Sherry Pringle; one great-grandson, Gage Hoops; and one sister, Alice Skubal.
   Memorial contributions may be made to Pine Grove Cemetery and left at the funeral home.
   The body will lie in state at the funeral home from 1 p.m. Thursday until service time.  Family visitation will be 9 a.m. Friday until service time.
   Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
