Sheryl Sue White
Sheryl Sue White was the daughter of Fred and Mattie Brown (Johnson). She was born in Douglas County on July 13, 1949. She departed this life on November 21, 2001. She was married to James Calvin White on October 16, 1965. To This union two children were born. Sheryl was a homemaker all her life; she raised a big garden and canned lots of food for her family. Sheryl was a member of Mt. Ararat church, but attended many other churches. She touched so many lives with her love for God. She is survived by her husband, James Calvin of the home, one son, Brent and his wife Bobbie of Mountain Grove, Mo., one daughter, Sheila and her husband Kevin Jenkins of Cabool, Mo., seven grandchildren, Amber, Adam, Curtis and Caleb Jenkins, Brennan, Bryant, and Benjamin White, her parents Fred and Mattie Brown, one brother, Freddie Brown of Cabool, and many other relatives and friends.
Graveside services were held at 2 pm Saturday, November 24, 2001 in Mt. Ararat Cemetery with Rev. David Morris officiating. Burial was under the direction of Elliott-Gentry Funeral Home of Cabool.
