SHERMAN COLLINS LAST RITES TODAY AT HOME NEAR HERE

   Funeral services were held this afternoon at 2 o'clock for Sherman Collins, 77 years, 10 monts and 7 days of age, who died at his home southwest of here late Monday light.  Services were also held at the family home.
   Mr. Collins died following a lingering illness, having been in poor health for several months.  He was born in Texas, April 8, 1865 and in 1887 was married to Josie Lam.  To this union nine children were born, and he is survived by his wife and children: Ruthie Goad, Everett Collins, Eli Collins, Golda Hodgson, Arthur Collins and Hazel Ryan, all of Barnsdall, and Emory Collins, Dora, Mo., Myrtle Gamley of Seattle, Wash., and Sylvia Toon of Hominy.  Besides his immediate family, he is survived by 43 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, a brother, Tol Collins and a sister, Margaret Jane Dugger, both of Missouri.
   Rev. Frank Conrad delivered the funeral sermon and burial was made in the Ethel Reese Cemetery with the Powell Funeral Home in charge.
