Sarah Jane Scarbrough
Sarah Jane Scarbrough was born June 28, 1906, in Willow Springs, Mo., to William Henry and Teresa (Black) Collins. She died Sept. 3, 2002 at Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains, Mo., at the age of 96 years.
She was united in marriage to James Ira Scarbrough and to this union five children were born.
Sarah is preceded in death by her parents; her husband James, in 1958; one infant son; one son; four brothers; and two sisters.
She is survived by one son, Eugene Scarbrough of Goodview, Va.; two daughters, Joan Turner of Elkland, Mo., and Nadine Noel of Kansas City, Mo.; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Sarah will be sadly missed by everyone who knew and loved her. Remains will be placed in the Willow Springs City Cemetery at a later date.
