Samuel Pernell McLarney was born at Moberly, Missouri, May 27th, 1881. Entered into eternal rest January 3rd, 1975, at the age of ninety-three years.
       Mr. McLarney was married to Jessie G. Cook on November 6th, 1906.
       Preceding Mr. McLarney in death are his parents, his wife and a son.
       Mr. McLarney was a Veteran of the Spanish-American War, having served in the United States Army as a Private in the Casual Detachment, 22nd Regiment of Infantry.

Samuel McLarney Funeral Monday

Funeral services for Samuel Pernel McLarney, 93, West Plains, will be held Monday at 10:30 am in the Rose Chapel, Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, West Plains, with the Rev Frank Hall officiating.
Mr McLarney died today at 4:05 am in West Vue Nursing Home. He was born at Moberly, Mo, May 27, 1881.
He was married Nov 6, 1906, to Jessie G Cook who preceded him in death. An adopted son also preceded him in death. Mr McLarney was a veteran of the Spanish American war, having served as a private in the casualty detachment, 22nd regiment infantry.
Full military honors will be held at graveside by military personnel from Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. Interment will be beside his wife in Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, West Plains.
