Ruth Madden Services Thursday

   Funeral services for Glenna Ruth Madden, 53, Willow Springs, will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 15, 2004, at Oak Grove Church under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home of West Plains.
   Mrs. Madden died noon Sunday, Jan. 11, 2004, at St. John's Regional Health Center, Springfield.  She was born June 21, 1950, at Twin Bridges, the daughter of Scott and Loeta Collins White.
   On March 31, 1979, she was married at Twin Bridges to A.D. "Zip" Madden.
   Mrs. Madden had been employed at Marathon Electric, was a long-time member of the Twin Bridges Saddle Club and served as secretary/treasurer for the Old Horton Cemetery Board of Trustees.
   She loved the outdoors, enjoyed her animals, and her grandchildren were her life.
   Survivors include her husband, A.D. "Zip" Madden, of the family home; one daughter Tracy Cook, Willow Springs; one son, Scott Madden, of the family home; two granddaughters, Keely Cook and Tehya Wilson, both of Willow Springs; her mother, Loeta White, West Plains; her grandmother, Ida Collins, West Plains; four brothers, Gayle White and wife, Chris, Lehman White, Garol "Gopher" White and Marlon "Moe' White, all of West Plains; a very special aunt, Naomi Painter, West Plains; and several nieces and nephews.
   She was preceded in death by her father; and an infant brother, Royal James White.
   Memorial contributions may be made to the family and left at the funeral home.
   The body will lie in state at the funeral home from 1 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.  Family visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
   Burial will be in Thornton Cemetery under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
