Loving wife, mother and grandma, Ruby Leone Voss Collins, 66, died January 12, 1996 at 5:45 am in Salt Lake City.
She was born May 7, 1929 in Devils Slide, a daughter of Raymond Henry and Mary Elizabeth Wright Voss. She married Urgel Collins, April 30, 1945 in Ogden, Utah. She attended schools in Morgan and was a member of the LDS Church.
Survived by husband, Urgel, of Salt Lake City; two sons, and five daughters, Ronnie U. Collins, Bennion; Kathleen Cole, North S. L.; Sherry Collins, Ruby J. Collins, and Rickey Collins, all of Salt Lake; Pam Cleverly, West Valley; Kristine Green, West Jordan; 18 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. Also surviving are five brothers and five sisters, Jay Lente, Salt Lake City; Joan Gamble, Kaysville; Mack Lente, Oregon; Ray Voss, Ralph Voss, Richard Voss, Ruby Parkinson, Wanda Potter, Pauline Schmardebeck, and Lois Warnberg, all of Idaho. She was preceded in death by parents, two brothers and a daughter.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 11 am in the Riverside Stake Chapel, 1150 West 5th North, with Bishop Robert Gowans officiating. Interment, North Morgan Cemetery. Funeral directors, Walker Mortuary, Morgan, Utah.
She will be greatly missed.
