Ruby Thompson services Sunday
Graveside services for Ruby Deloris Thompson, 65, West Plains, will be 2 pm Sunday, Nov 24, 2002, at Howell Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home of West Plains.
Mrs Thompson died at 4 pm Saturday, Nov 16, 2002, at her home. She was born March 31, 1937, at Dora, the daughter of Erman and Irene Freeman Collins.
On Nov 20, 1953, she was married at Dawt to Cecil Eugene "Gene" Thompson.
Before her retirement, Mrs Thompson had been employed at Eaton in West Plains.
She had attended Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Survivors include her husband, Gene Thompson, of the family home; two sons, Dan Thompson and wife Kate, Dyersburg, Tenn, and Randy Thompson, Licking; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; one brother, Glen Dale Collins and wife, Sherry, Thayer; one sister, Lena Howard and husband, Verlin, Dora; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Sandy Beljean; one granddaughter, Crystal Beljean; and two brothers, Doyle and Doyne Collins.
Memorial contributions may be made to Riverways Hospice and left at the funeral home.
