Royse H. Collins services Saturday
Graveside services for Royse H. Collins, 41, Webb City, formerly of West Plains, will be held at 1 pm Saturday in Amy Cemetery at West Plains with Clifford Steward officiating. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Friday in Simpson Funeral Home, Webb City, with the Rev. Alfred Jenkins officiating.
Mr. Collins died at 9:35 am Wednesday in St. John's Medical Center, Joplin, suffering an apparent heart attack. He was born July 24, 1939, in West Plains.
He had been a resident at Webb City for the last 21 years, and had retired from the Missouri Highway Department due to ill health. He was married March 10, 1959, at West Plains to Laura M. Cooper.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Laura Collins, Webb City; one son, Jimmie Dean Collins, of the home; five brothers, Donald, Kenneth, Randy, Delbert and Ray Collins, all of Webb City; one sister, Mrs. Shirley Coleman, Web City, his father, Lawrence Collins, Neosho; and his mother, Mrs.. Helen Collins, Carthage.
Burial will be in Amy Cemetery under direction of the Simpson Funeral Home, Webb City.
