Rita Collins funeral today
Funeral services for Rita Collins, 71, Mammoth Spring, Ark., were at 2 pm today in the Carr-Montgomery Chapel, Thayer, with Wayne Sigler and Orley Hermon officiating.
Mrs. Collins died Monday in Fulton Co. Hospital, Salem, Ark. She was born Jan. 6, 1915, in Mammoth Spring, Ark., the daughter of the late Ritchie and Allie Land Washam.
She was married Nov. 8, 1933, in Sharp County, Ark., to Oliver Collins. She was a member of the CWF Christian Women Fellowship.
Survivors include two sons, Ritchie Collins, St. Louis, and Freddie Collins, Mammoth Spring, Ark.; one daughter Nadine Reynolds, Mammoth Spring, Ark.; three brothers, Amos Washam, Amory, Miss., Art Washam and Edd Washam, both of Mammoth Spring, Ark.; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers and two daughters.
Burial was in Riverside Cemetery under the direction of Carr-Montgomery Funeral Home, Thayer.
