Retha Turner dies Wednesday
Private family services for Retha Jean Turner, 73, Elkland and formerly of Willow Springs, will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Turner died Wednesday, Dec, 4, at her home following a lengthy battle with cancer. She was born June 28, 1929, in Willow Springs, the daughter of James Ira and Sarah Collins Scarbrough.
Survivors include her son, David Seam and fiancess, Teresa, Elkland; her grandson, Jason Seaman, California; her great-grandson, Jacob, California; one sister, Nadine Noel, Indepence; and one brother, Eugene "Shorty" Scarbrough, Goodview, Ga.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Jim Scarbrough.
Arrangements were under the direction of Montgomery-Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo.
