Paul Collins, 73, Franklin, died Sunday, May 20, 2001, in Franklin.
Mr. Collins was a former resident of Columbus and Whitesburg, Ky.,., worked as a coal miner in Whitesburg for several years, later worked at Chrysler in Detroit and in security at construction sites in Whitesburg.
There will be no calling or funeral.
Arrangements were made by Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home in Franklin.
Mr. Collins was born in Whitesburg Aril 22, 1928, the son of Henry and Rosildia Collins Collins.
Surviving are sons, Johnny Collins of Franklin and Paul Anthony Collins of Greensprings, Ohio; daughters, Carol Cornett of Whitesburg and Teresa Collins of Toledo, Ohio; a sister, Parthene Collins of Tatum, Texas; and grandchildren, Tristan Paul Collins of Franklin, Travis and Tyler Cornett, both of Whitesburg, and Alicia and Sara Celek, both of Greensprings.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Ealina and Susan Collins and Mavis Irene Crase, and brothers John, Riley, Thomas, Wesley and Glen W. Collins.
