Orbie L. Collins services Friday

    Funeral services for Orbie Lee Collins, 53, West Plains, will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Rose Chapel, Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, West Plains.
    Mr. Collins died at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday in Ellis Fischel Hospital, Columbia.  He was born Dec. 22, 1930, in Cushing, Okla., the son of the late William and Jessie McCurly Collins.
    He was married June 21, 1953, at Grand Junction, Colo., to Myrtha Clotild McAtlin.  He had been of the Church of Christ faith with his membership being in the Gospel Hill church of Christ at Pottersville, and he was a veteran of the United States Army.
    Survivors include his wife, Myrtha Collins, of the home; seven children, Diana Bearden, Colorado Springs, Colo.; Mitchel Collins, Sterling, Colo., Donna Collins, San Diego, Calif., Valerie Mesa, Douglas, Wyo., Bill Collins, Yankton, S.D., Lisa Fare and Steven Collins, both of West Plains; 12 grandchildren; one sister, Clercy Estes, state of Louisiana; three half brothers; three half sisters and several nieces and nephews.
    His parents, one brother and one sister preceded him in death.
    Burial will be in Flat Rock Cemetery near Calico Rock, Ark., under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, West Plains.
