| West Plains Weekly Quill Thursday, Feb 8, 1945 Funeral Ora Collins At Siloam Springs Graduate High School Here Died of Pulmonary Ailment. Returned From Sanitarium Only 2 Weeks Ago (From Friday�s Daily Quill) Funeral services for Miss Ora Collins, 21, who died here Wednesday of a pulmonary ailment, were held this afternoon at the church in Siloam Springs, with the Rev. Joe Anderson, pastor of the Baptist church at Mountain View in charge. Burial also was at Siloam Springs. Miss Collins, who is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Collins of Siloam Springs, returned here only two weeks ago from Mount Vernon, Mo., where she had been undergoing treatment in the state sanitarium, and she and a sister, Miss Lola Collins had been living on Jefferson avenue, that she might be near a physician. She had been ill since last June. She was graduated from the West Plains High School after completing her grade school work in the Siloam Springs schools. Besides her parents and the sister here Miss Collins also is survived by five other sisters and brother, who are Misses Flora and Leotus Collins, Mrs. Ola Stubbs, Ewing and Owen Collins, all of Siloam Springs. Funeral arrangements and burial were in charge of the Paige Robertsons of the Robertson funeral home here. |
