| Omer Bunch 1911-1993 Memorial Services Sunday, August 29, 1933 - 2 p.m. Rose Chapel Howell Memorial Park Cemetery Omer Bunch, son of the late James and Josephine Collins Bunch, was born March 11, 1911 at Roosevelt, Missouri. He entered into eternal rest August 26, 1993 at the age of eighty-two years. He received his education at the Round Top School and on August 28, 1937 was married at West Plains, Missouri to Zora Lorene Cunningham. Mr. Bunch had served as the Douglas County Republican Committeeman, was a member of the Willow Springs and Big Springs School Boards, and was also a Willow Springs School bus driver for ten years before his retirement. Mr. Bunch enjoyed the outdoors, farming, hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife, Zora Bunch, of the family home; six children, Donnie Bunch and wife, Carolyn, Marshfield, Missouri, Jim Bunch and wife, Aharlene, Willow Springs, Missouri, Junior Bunch and wife, Shirley, West Plains, Missouri, Ted Bunch and wife, Barbara, West Plains, Missouri, Carolyn Davis and husband Dean, Mountain Grove, Missouri and Linda Spence and husband, Larry, Willow Springs, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Gloria Perkins and husband, Dwight and daughter, Nakita, Rolla, Missouri, Kevin Bunch, wife, Sheila and son, Garrett, West Plains, Missouri, Time Bunch, West Plains, Missouri, Johanna Bunch, West Plains, Missouri, Cindy Bunch, Marshfield, Missouri, Marty Spence and Megan Spence, both of Willow Springs, Missouri and Abby Davis, Mountain Grove, Missouri; one sister, Ethel Steinmans and husband, Raymond, Tarkio, Missouri; and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Bunch is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Marion Bunch, Irvin Bunch, Everett Bunch and Floyd Bunch and five sisters, Julie Haddock, Cora Chaney, Bertha White, Dorothy Hurst and one infant sister. He had been a member of the Big Springs Missionary Baptist Church for forty-five years and was a Deacon and Secretary-Treasurer of the Church for forty-two years. |
