Graveside services for Norman Hollis Turnbull, 81, Vanzant, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 6, 199, at Pleasant Mound Cemetery in Douglas County, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home of West Plains.
Mr. Turnbull died at 6:55 p.m. Monday, May 3, 1999, at Ozarks Medical Center, West Plains. He was born Aug. 29, 1917, in Douglas County, the son of Walter James and Dora Doshia Davis Turnbull.
Mr. Turnbull was a logger at a sawmill.
Survivors include several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Elslie Turnbull and Clovis Turnbull; one sister, Lola Turnbull; and one nephew, Eldon Turnbull.
