Noel Roberts services Saturday

   Funeral services for Noel Thomas Roberts, 80, Caulfield; will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 23, 2000, in the Rose Chapel of the Robertson-Drago Funeral Home of West Plains, with Evangelist Cliff Stewart officiating.
   Mr. Roberts died 3:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 21, 2000, in Ozarks Medical Cemetery, West Plains.  He was born Fe. 9, 1920, at Elijah, the son of Thomas Noel and Mary Magdalene "Maggie" Casey Roberts.
   In 1936, he was married at Gainesville to Violet Lee Loretta Welch.  on Feb. 16, 1948, he was married at Salem, Ark., to Nancy Pauline Collins, who preceded him in death June 19, 1966.
   Mr. Roberts was a veteran of World War II, having served in the Pacific Theatre of War with the U. S. Navy as a Seaman First Class.
   He was a member of Elijah Church of Christ.
   Survivors include three children, Bonnie Hooper and husband, Roger, Texarkana, Texas, Jim Roberts and wife, Betty, Mansfield, Texas, and Glenda Cole and husband, Howard, Fort Worth, Texas; 18 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Clifford Roberts, Gillette, Wyo.; two sisters, Irene Laxton, Caulfield, and Ina Jones, Strafford; and several nieces and nephews.
   He was preceded in death by his parents; his wives; two daughters, Wilma Tedford and Betty Flood; two grandson, Jimmy Ray Roberts and Wayne Flood; one great-granddaughter, Hope Lynetta Cole; one infant brother and one infant sister.
   Burial will be in Howell Valley Cemetery under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
