Mr. Collins died at 8:15 tuesday at his Home. He was born Feb 18, 1927 in Howell County to Ben and Alice (Clara) Johnson Collins. He received his education in the schools of Siloam Springs.
On Sept. 2, 1950 he was married to Donna Stutesman.
Mr. Collins was a veteran having servred in the U.S. Army, before his retirement he was a maintence supervior with the West Plains Housing Authority.
He was of Protestant faith.
Suvivors include his wife Donna, two daughters, Sharon Bassham and Keren Dobbs. Three grandhildren, Bradley Sanders, Lauren Sanders, and Tyler Collins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and three sisters.
Memorial contributions may be made at Riverway Hospice and left at the funeral home.
Mr. Collins will lie in state at the funeral hom from noon Thrusday until service time.
Burial will be at Howell Memorial Park with military honers provided by American Legion Post 23 and American Legion post 374, Veterans of foreign Wars Post 1828 and Amvets post 98.
