Nancy Alice McAmis, daughter of the late John and Martha Collins Cochran, was born near Pottersville, Missouri, May 11, 1913. Entered into eternal rest December 27, 1972 at the age of fifty-nine years.
On February 19, 1929 Mrs. McAmis was married at Osage, Oklahoma to Finis McAmis, who survives her as do five children, who are Roy McAmis, Sullivan, Missouri, Alma Ramsey, Phoenix, Arizona, Elizabeth Johnson, Sullivan, Missouri, Billy McAmis and Bobbie McAmis, both of West Plains, Missouri. Also surviving are seventeen grandchildren and two grea grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Blanche Martin and a brother Andrew Cochran, both of West Plains, Missouri.
Preceding Mrs. McAmis in death are her parents, two sons and a number of brothers and sisters.
Mrs. McAmis has been a member of the Pentecostal Church since early womanhood.
