Modene Carrico Collins services Thursday

  Graveside services for Lee Modene Carrico Collins, 76, West Plains, will be 2 p.m. Thursday July 20, 2000, at Pottersville Cemetery under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home of West Plains.
  Mrs. Collins deid 1:30 p.m. Monday, July 17, 2000, at her home.  She was born June 18, 1924, at Vidette, Ark., the daughter of William H. and Alma Newton Lewis.
  On Dec. 14, 1941, she was married at Hand, Ark., to Austin R. Carrico, who preceded her in death Feb. 15, 1979.  On Sept. 22, 1992, she was married at West Plains to George Alsup Collins, who preceded her in death Sept 18, 1999.
  Mrs. Collins was a member of the Order of Eastern Star.  She loved gardening, flowers and enjoyed square dancing.
  She was of the Methodist faith with her membership in Smith Chapel Church for many years.
  Survivors include two sons, Bill Carrico and wife, Pat, West Plains, and Donnie Carrico, state of Texas; eight grandchildren; one sister, Billie Briscoe and husband Jerry, West Plains; two nieces; and one nephew.
  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; and one son Harold Gene Garrett.
  Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and left at the funeral home.
  The body will lie in state 2 p.m. today until 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
