Mr. Bennett came to this County at the age of twelve years with his parents, and on May 4, 1935, was married at Hardy, Arkansas, to Edna Collins, who survives him, as do two children, Dean Bennett, Pomona, Missouri, and Mrs. Joyce Hall, West Plains, Missouri.  There are three grandchildren surviving, as do two sisters and two brothers, who are Mrs. Velma Miller, Mrs. Hazel Carver and Leonard Bennett, all of Salem, Oregon, and Lindus Bennett, Pomona, Missouri.
Preceding Mr. Bennett in death are his parents, a son, one brother and one sister.
