Melvin Collins services Tuesday
Graveside services for Melvin Dale Collins, 46, Willow Springs, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2000, at Howell Memorial Park Cemetery, with Winston Burton officiating uner the direction of Hiler Funeral Home of Willow Springs.
Mr. Collins died Friday, Oct. 6, 2000, at Maranatha Manor, Springfield. He was born March 31, 1954, at West Plains, the son of Melvin B. and Betty Jo Petrey Collins.
Mr. Collins ws employed by Sportsman Campers in Rogersville. He was a member of the Church of God.
Surviors include his mother, Betty Jo Collins, Rogerville; his sister, Carolyn Reed adn husband, Larry, Rogersville; his paternal grandmother, Ella Collins, Willow Springs; one niece, Shana Sanders; one great-niece Brittany Sanders and one great-nephew, Branden Sanders and special friend, Carmen Altermatt; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father; his maternal grandparents. Joe and Ivy Petrey; and his paternal grandfather, Bill Collins.
The body will lie in state until 4:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
