  Melvin Edward "Bud" Osborn, son of the late Oakley Allen and Lucy Collins Osborn, was born October 8, 1926 at Omba, Missouri.  He entered into eternal rest May 14, 1993 at the age of sixty-six years.
  He received his education at the Little Zion School and on May 19, 1945 was married at Salem, Arkansas to Ollie Faye Collins.
  Mr. Osborn was a veteran of World War II having served witht he United States Navy in the Phillipines.
  For forty-six years, Mr. Osborn had run a sawmill and was a well known farmer.  He served on the Board of Directors of the Twin Bridges Saddle Club for twenty-five years.  Mr. Osborn liked to attend horse shows and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
  He survived by his wife, Ollie Faye Osborn, of the family home; five children, Ronnie Osborn and wife, Janice, West Plains, Missouri, Glenna Green and husband, Jerry, West Plains, Missouri, Donnie Osborn and wife, Jeanne, West Plains, Missouri, Marilyn Weaver and Husband, Doug, Willow Springs, Missouri Randy "Pete" Osborn and Leisha, West Plains, Missouri; nine grandchildren; seven step grandchildren; six step great grandchildren; one brother, Ruffice Osborn and wife, Pat, St. Charles, Missouri; two sisters, Mae Sparks and husband, Kermit, Fordland, Missouri; a sister-in-law, Pauline Osborn, Eugene, Oregon; and a number of nieces and nephews.  Mr. Osborn is preceded in death by his parents, one grandson, Allen Ray Green, one brother, Everette Osborn, one sister, Edna Osborn, a son-in-law, Jack Lowe, a brother -in- law, Frank Jenkins, one niece, Janice Osborn, and one nephew, Kermit Sparks, III.
  He was of the Baptist faith.
