| West Plains Daily Quill Feb. 21, 1983 Mary S. Collins services Thurs. Funeral services for Mary Sue Collins, 63, West Plains, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Rose Chapel, Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, West Plains, with the Rev. David Hicks officiating. Mrs. Collins died at 3:45 p.m. Sunday in West Plains Memorial Hospital. She was born July 7, 1919, in West Plains, the daughter of Mary Arrisa Buford Washington the late Jessie David Washington. She received her education in the schools of West Plains, and on Oct. 27, 1962, she was married at West Plains to William A. (Andy) Collins. She had been employed by International Shoe Company in West Plains for 17 years. Mrs. Collins had been of the Christian faith since childhood, her membership being in the First Christian Church, West Plains. Survivors include her husband, William A. (Andy) Collins, West Plains; three daughters, Mrs. Richard (Susie) Richardson, Lynnette Smith and Mrs. Ron (Janice) Doss, all of West Plains; one stepdauther Kathleen Ann Collins, Marshall; three stepsons, Kenneth and Jimmy Dale Collins, both of West Plains; William A. Collins Jr., Bridger, Mont.; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; her mother, Mrs. Jessie D. Washington, West Plains; one brother Buford Washington, West Plains; two sisters, Dorothy Hayter, Diamond; Margaret Stewart, Springfield; and several Nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, who died in 1960. Burial will be in Howell Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, West Plains.
