| West Plains Daily Quill March 19, 2003 Marvin Warren services Friday Graveside services for Marvin Dean Warren, 61, Wichita, Kan., and formerly of Dora, will be 2 p.m. Friday, March 21, 2003, at Eaton Cemetery, Drury, with the Rev. Robert Grisham officiating under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home of Ava. Mr. Warren died Saturday, March 15, 2003, at Wichita. He was born Feb. 1, 1942, in the state of Kansas, the son of Leslie and Ethel Beatrice Dann Warren. On Dec. 8, 1970, he was married at Bartow, Fla., to Madena Collins. Mr. Collins was a resident of Wichita since 1985, moving from Dora. He was a farmer and mechanic. He attended Blackjack Church when he lived in this area. Survivors include three daughters, Lea Ann Phillips, Ava., Melissa Warren, West Plains, and Sue Ellen (Warren), Cassville; his former wife, Madena Warren Lakey, Dora; four grandchildren; two sisters, Imogene Turner, Mtn. Grove, and Kitty Lee Rollings, Tacoma, Wash.; one half-brother, Richard Snook, St. Angelo, Texas; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, two sisters and one half-sister. |
