Margaret Murphy Morris.
Margaret M. Morris, 78, of 300 E. Third Ave., died at 3:50 p.m. Monday, September 11, 1995, at her home.
Born October 1, 1916, in Monmouth to Loren E. and Besse Ditto Murphy, she married John H. Morris on March 29, 1941, in Monmouth. He died May 26, 1993. Two sisters also preceded her in death. Surviving are four brothers, Lewis D. and Wayne D. Murphy, both of Monmouth, Loren E. Murphy, Jr., of Princeton; and Darrel Murphy of Peoria; and one sister, Mrs. George (Dorothy) Griffith of Girard, Ohio.
She worked in the library at the Millikin University in Decatur for many years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Decatur.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at the Turnbull Funeral Home. The Rev.Ellis Beeman will officaiate. Visitation will be one hour before services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Warren County Memorial Park.
