Madrene Bohm services Tuesday

   Funeral services for Elsie Madrene Bohm, 88, West Plains, will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 16, 2002, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, West Plains, with Father John Brath officiating under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home of West Plains.
   Mrs. Bohm died 9:15 a.m. Saturday, July 13, 2002, at Ozarks Medical Center, West Plains.  She was born Sept. 1, 1913, at Ash Flat, Ark., the daughter of Joseph Aaron and Virgie May Horton Collins.
   She was a 1933 graduate of West Plains High School and a 1938 graduate of Bethany Methodist Hospital Nursing School in Kansas City, Kan.  Mrs. Bohm worked as a registered nurse for 45 years in hospitals in Kansas City, Kan., New Orleans, La., Miami, Okla., Concordia, Kan., and Beloit, Kan.
   On June 5, 1944, she was married to Lawrence Bohm of Beloit, Kan.
   In 1985, she and her husband moved to West Plains to enjoy their retirement.  Mrs. Bohm loved working in her garden and yard, liked to travel and worked as a volunteer at Ozarks Medical Center for 14-1/2 years after she returned to West Plains.
   She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of West Plains.
   Survivors include her husband, Lawrence Bohm, West Plains; two sons, Michael Bohm and wife, Delores, Redmond Wash., and James Bohm, Atlanta, Ga.; two granddaughters, Melissa Bohm, Seattle, Wash., and Michelle Kujath and husband, Jeffrey, Redmond, Wash.; one brother, Chet Collins and wife, Helen, West Plains; one sister, Dorothy Bernice Trout, Hastings, Neb.; one sister-in-law, Imogene Collins, West Plains, and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
   She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Lehman Collins and Carson Collins; and one sister, Margaret Lorene Harris and husband, Clifford.
   Burial will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
