Mabel Clay services Wednesday
Graveside services for Mabel Clay, 94, Lawrence, Kan., will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2004, at Washington Creek Cemetery under the direction of Lawrence Funeral Chapel of Lawrence.
Mrs. Clay died Sunday, Feb. 8, 2004, at Presbyterian Manor. She was born Sept. 21, 1909, at Moody, the daughter of Joe and Minnie Collins Davis.
She was a homemaker and member of Lawrence Church of Christ.
Survivors include one daughter, Faye Sharable, Lawrence; three sisters, Opal Keith, West Plains, Irene Yeager, Lawrence, and Lorene Taylor, Cape Girardeau; two granddaughters; six great-grandchildren ; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Good Samaritan Fund at Presbyterian Manor to benefit the activities room and can be sent to the funeral home at Sixth and Monterey Way, Lawrence, KS 66049.
Family visitation will be 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
