Mrs. Lydia Collins' Funeral Services Set for Tomorrow

   Funeral services for Mrs. Lydia Margaret Collins of Siloam Springs will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at Siloam Springs.
   Mrs. Collins died at 4:30 Saturday afternoon in the General Hospital in Willow Springs where she had been a patient only three hours.  She had been in poor health for several years and critically ill the past two weeks, suffering from a heart condition.
   She was born in Douglas County, March 11, 1881 to the late Jake and Margaret Collins Stubbs.  She has spent her entire life in Douglas and Howell counties.
   In June, 1898 Mrs. Collins was married to Levi S. Collins at Siloam Springs.  They established their home in the Siloam Springs Community where Mrs. Collins has continued to reside.  Her husband died in May, 1947.
   Surviving are three sons, Clint Collins and Arthur Collins, Siloam Springs Rt., West Plains, and Henry Collins, Springfield, and six daughters, Mrs.. Earl Gound, Knoxville, Tenn., Mrs. Tom D. Arman, Oak Ridge, Tenn., Mrs. Oren Murrell, Tulsa, Okla., Mrs. Julian Johnson, Siloam Springs, Mrs.. Margaret Poage, Torrence, Calif. and Mrs. Arthur Young, Parma, Idaho.
   All the children were with their mother at the time of her death with the exception of Mrs. Arthur Young who had retuned home.  One daughter preceded her in death.  There are 22 grandchildren 18 great great grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Leonard Collins.
   Mrs. Collins was a member of the Baptist Church since early womanhood.
   Burial will be in the Collins Cemetery beside her husband under the direction of Robertson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Lydia Collins Buried Yesterday

   Funeral services for Mrs. Lydia Margaret Collins were held at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon at Siloam Springs with the Rev. Frank Hall officiating.
   Mrs. Collins died Saturday afternoon.
  Mr. and Mrs. Edd Cannon and Tom Fox san, "No Tears In Heaven," "Farther Along" and "Precious Memories."
   Pallbearers were Harold Gilbert, Oscar Murrell, Homer Ledbetter, Dwight Partee, J. W. Paschall and Leo Hennen.
   Burial was in Collins Cemetery beside her husband under the direction of Robertson Funeral Home.
   Out of town relatives and friends here for the services were Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Young, Parma, Idaho; Mr. and Mrs. Owen Murrell and family, and Mrs.. and Mrs. Leo Hennen, Tulsa, Okla.;  Mr. and Mrs. Earl Gound, Knoxville, Tenn.; Mrs. and Mrs.. Thomas Dearmond and family, Oak Ridge, Tenn.; Mr. and Mrs. Homer Ledbetter and family, Branson; Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Partee, Springfield; and Margaret Poage, Torrance, Calif.
