Lonzo Haring services Thursday
Funeral services for Lonzo Haring, 81, Ozark, will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 10, 2000, in the Rose Chapel of the Robertson-Drago Funeral Home of West Plains, with the Rev. Steve Sinor officiating.
Mr. Haring died 10:37 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 6, 2000, in Ozark nursing and Care Center, Ozark. He was born May 18, 1919, at Wirth, Ark., the son of Harvey and Relda Bell Johnson Haring.
He received his education at New Central School, and on My 27, 1939, was married at West Plains to Rachel Louise Jolliff, who preceded him in death March 21, 1999.
Mr. Haring was a member of the Assembly of God.
Survivors include five Children, Betty Maxine Stradford, Mtn. Home, Ark., Beverly Ann Cope and husband, John, Springfield, Jan Welch and husband, Saul, Jonesboro, Ark., Bob G. Haring and wife, Kelli, Rogersville, and Gale Grogan and husband, Randy, Olive Branch, Miss.; six grandchildren, Starryll Stradford, Doug Stradford, Mike Cope, Angie Love, Rachel Grogan and Jennifer Grogan; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Bessie and Elise; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and several brothers and sisters.
Burial will be in Howell Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
